SPLASH! FAMILY FUN NIGHT was held on October 8th. StoneLion Puppet Theatre presented the Down the Drain Puppet Show at 6:30 p.m. Students and families enjoyed games, arts and crafts and jugglers. Students had submitted designs for rain barrels and the winning design was Ava Kroh's, a 4th grade student! A rain barrel provides an ample supply of free "soft water" to homeowners, containing no chlorine, lime or calcium, making it ideal for gardens, flower pots, and car and window washing. A rain barrel will save most homeowners about 1,300 gallons of water during the peak summer months!!!! Congratulations Ava on the winning design!
Mrs. Gonser's 4th grade class enjoys recess despite the heat! Mrs. Gonser adjusted her recess time so that her 4th graders were not outside during the intense heat of the day! Recess is an important part of the day for most 4th graders to socialize and have fun!
