There was a huge crowd at Thankful For Reading Night on Thursday, November 21st. Some of the activities included Bingo for Books, a Turkey Photo Booth, and Build-A-Book! Students and adults could add their favorite book to a leaf at the Thankful for Reading Tree. Students signed the Cocoa Pledge to read over the winter and received cocoa to take home as a treat. The Turner Public Library and Parents as Teachers also had booths in the front hall for information. Many thanks to Mrs. Williams-Boyce, reading specialist, for putting on this great event and the many staff members for all their hard work!
